Beat Team CT

Joseph Austin originates from the Western Branch area of Chesapeake, Virginia but relocated to Hartford, CT in 2007. At the end of his senior year in high school, Joseph Austin acknowledged his calling to the preaching ministry in service to the Lord Jesus Christ and created through the help of the Holy Spirit, On The Attack Ministry Campaign founded in 2005. On the Attack was a newsletter that provided freedom and confidence in Christ to students of his school.

Only 19 at the time, he joined The First Cathedral in Bloomfield, CT under leadership of Archbishop LeRoy and Mother Reathie Bailey. There he became appointed leader of the youth praise and worship team, Anointed Voices of Praise, by minister of music Wayne Robinson. In 2010 Joseph Austin recorded his very first EP entitled Worshipper; which began as a song written for the youth team, but it evolved into much more. Many of Joseph Austin’s songs are played on the radio today; Had Enough and In His Name are his top two. Joseph is presently working on his sophomore album "The Comeback" due to be released during the summer of 2017.

Joseph Austin, now serves as the Youth Pastor and Worship Leader at The Temple of Restoration in Hartford, CT under Senior Pastor and Lead Servant Bruce L. Carter. Joseph Austin’s passion is lifting up the name of Jesus and being the best version of himself that he can be. In 2015 Joseph Austin relaunched On The Attack Ministry Campaign, under a new name, Celebrate Jesus Coalition, which was birthed as a musical but quickly adapted the roots of the previous ministry. Joseph Austin currently lives in Hartford, CT with his 4 children; Javon, Demari, Chyna and Chyanne.

Despite growing up on the north end of Hartford CT, Garry purposed in his heart not to become a product of his environment. He used music as a means of expression and a way to escape the sometimes harsh reality he lived in.

Garry was raised in the church, left at the age of 13, and made a comeback at the age of 21. In 2002, Garry began participating in Cross Movement Human Emergency, sparking a passion for gospel rap music.

In addition to being a gospel rapper, Garry is a minister, husband, and father of 2 boys. He is presently working on his EP "Testimonies and Meditations."
